An interesting 19th century tin foot warmer or brazier, used in a carriage or early motor vehicle. Probably English…possibly French. The loose rectangular tin container with a carrying handle for hot coals is inside. The outer case, which has a number two and is stamped with a lion crest, is also pierced with lace like shaped air holes on the back and front.
